At the heart of the 2014 Porsche 911 (991) GT3 PDK is a 3.8-liter, naturally aspirated, flat-six engine that delivers 475 horsepower and 440 Nm of torque. This engine is mated to a seven-speed PDK (Porsche Doppelkupplungsgetriebe) transmission, which allows for lightning-fast gear changes and smooth, uninterrupted power delivery.
The 2014 Porsche 911 (991) GT3's exterior design is sleek and aerodynamic, with sharp lines and an aggressive stance. The car features a large rear wing and a diffuser that helps to increase downforce and improve handling at high speeds. The car also features a unique front bumper and large air intakes that help to channel air to the engine and brakes for improved performance.
Inside, the 2014 Porsche 911 (991) GT3 is a driver-focused cockpit that is designed for maximum performance. The car features racing-style bucket seats that provide excellent support and comfort during high-speed driving. The car also features a range of advanced technologies, including a touchscreen infotainment system, a Bose sound system, and a range of driver assistance features.
One of the most notable features of the 2014 Porsche 911 (991) GT3 is its advanced suspension system. The crankshaft and valve train, were specially adapted or developed for the 991 GT3. For example, the 991 GT3's engine uses titanium connecting rods attached to forged pistons, in order to allow the engine to reach up to 9,000 rpm. The dual-clutch gearbox is another feature specially developed for the 991 GT3, based on sequential manual transmissions used in racing cars.
The 2014 Porsche 911 (991) GT3 is a car that was designed to push the limits of what is possible in a high-performance sports car. With its powerful engine, advanced technologies, and innovative design features, it is a car that represents the very best of Porsche's engineering prowess.
