The model known as the DBS 6 (and later V8) was produced by Aston Martin Lagonda Limited from 1967 to 1972. The first models with a 3995 cm³ inline six-cylinder engine and DOHC valves produced 284 horsepower at 4500 rpm and 390 Nm of torque, with a total weight of 1588 kg. It aimed to be a significantly more modern successor to the DB6 and was also much larger.

The offered car comes with many documents, invoices, and Aston Martin certification, which states that the car was originally sold directly from the factory to a British address. The "birth certificate" shows the date 5th November 1970. We know little about its further history, but it is undeniable that someone repainted the car from its original elegant green color to ivory. The vehicle is essentially a project, as visible in the detailed photos. The body has some corrosion, the transmission (in this case, a three-speed Borg Warner BW 8 automatic) doesn’t shift perfectly, and there are imperfections in the interior. However, the inline six-cylinder engine with SU carburetors has been serviced and currently runs smoothly, which we confirmed during testing. It’s a project for more experienced enthusiasts, but with favorable conditions.
