After a complete renovation
Version with SU H6 carburetors
Fully functional
Beautiful color combination of a British roadster
British roadsters from the Triumph TR series have long been popular with collectors. To remind you, the TR3 version was produced from 1955 to 1962 in Coventry (Standard Motor Company) in the UK. Compared to its predecessor (the TR2), the open car has better brakes and a more powerful engine. The engine has a displacement of 1991 cm³ and delivers 96 horsepower, five more than the older model. This was achieved with the help of the larger SU H6 carburetors. In total, around 74,800 units of various versions were produced.
The offered car, marked as a TR3A, is from 1958. As shown in the photos, this is a beautiful vehicle that has undergone a very thorough renovation. The entire process is fully documented. Everything is in superb condition, fully functional, and practically better than a new car. The engine runs perfectly, producing the throaty sound of the carburetors, and the 4-speed manual transmission shifts smoothly.
