The Mercedes R107 series is one of the longest-produced models by the German manufacturer. The R107 (SL convertible) and C107 (SLC hardtop coupe) were manufactured between 1971 and 1989, with a total of 300,175 units produced, of which 62,888 were SLCs. This model was particularly successful in the U.S. market, with up to 40% of production destined for the States. Models from the final production phase are distinguished not only by better equipment (such as a passenger airbag and improved brakes) but also visually—for example, U.S. models from 1986 featured a third brake light on the trunk lid.

The offered convertible with a fabric roof also originates from the U.S. From the wide range of available engines (from inline sixes to various V8s), it is powered by the most powerful option, the M117 E56 V8 engine. This SOHC engine, equipped with Bosch KE-Jetronic electronic fuel injection, featured a three-way catalytic converter and lambda sensor, delivering a total output of 230 hp at 4,750 rpm and 378 Nm of torque.

This particular vehicle is in excellent condition overall, with no visible signs of body corrosion.
